Amba Estate is perched right above the Ravana Ella waterfall and below Ella Rock,
in the unspoilt valley of Ambadandegama. Good tarmac roads connect the estate to Ella town, Bandarawela and Wellawaya (each about 30 minutes drive).
The nearest train station is Heel Oya (between Bandarawela and Ella).
